Alongside my drypoint work, I also take on cartography commissions of chosen places around the world.

Originally produced as unique screenprint monoprints, now they combine painted backgrounds with hand-drawn digital overlays.

Another technique I use is to hand draw chosen contours in Illustrator, manipulating their perspective in Photoshop, before sending them to print at a local fine art printers, sized to the clients spec.

If it suits the artwork, elements of the land formations are then highlighted by intricately hand painting 23.5 carat shell gold paint on to the final print.
