This began as a pencil study of an unidentified root that my partner found on his walk home from work.
After tracing and duplicating it began to form what reminded me of some kind of mysterious vessel.
Hand-etched on to 9 acrylic plates. Each plate is 20cm width x 25cm height.
Framed size 92cm width x 75cm height
Somerset 300gsm white printmaking paper, Japanese Gampi chine colle paper, Intaglio sepia ink.
Unique piece, professionally framed at Hidden Framers, Bristol. This print was exhibited at The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Print Prize 2026.
